Charlotte Jones’ Humble Boy is a clever comedy and re-imagining of Hamlet that intermingles wit and classic characters. Felix Humble, a 35-year-old Cambridge astro-physicist, returns to his family home after the sudden death of his father to grieve and dispose of Dad’s ashes. However, his mother wants to marry his ex-girlfriend’s father post-haste. Then, there’s the “ghostly” presence of his late father with advice on everything.
Part of PCPA Theaterfest’s Interplay staged reading series.
