Gorey Stories

Gorey Stories is a collection of Gorey’s tales, songs, and limericks, expressing a neo-Victorian vision of the world as dark, mysterious, sinister, and most often, hilarious. It’s a world of unnatural creatures, children in jeopardy, the occasional sexual adventure, malevolent furniture, capricious disaster, curious landscapes, insanity, the worlds of the dance and opera and literature and film, religious fanaticism, murder, sudden and horrible death, catchy tunes, and above all, big-time laughs. It’s great macabre fun (Gorey, or gory, indeed) arriving just in time to start the Halloween season.
