F Buddy

Ellie has a broken heart until grief, outrageous friends and a bottle of tequila collide to create a cure – F Buddy Therapy! A naive romantic, Ellie is bereft when her devoted boyfriend takes a hike. The abandonment is her near demise and propels her into a lusty “to hell with it” relationship with a hunky friend. When that relationship doesn’t go as planned, the familiar pain reveals itself again and Ellie must face some uncomfortable truths.

F Buddy is presented as part of the Actors Art Theatre’s solo play series LIVE! GIRLS!! GIRLS!! GIRLS!!, featuring female members of the Actors Art Theatre Collective in pieces directed by and co-written with Artistic Director Jolene Adams. Developed in AAT’s Writing Out Loud Workshop, these works, inspired by fact and fantasy, demonstrate the actors art in its purest form – one story, one person, one audience and one shared experience.
