Broadway Theatre in Vista continues Broadway Sunday Bonus, a program that features the work of local playwrights, with plays by Michael Thomas Tower, San Diego writer, actor and director. The program consists of three one-acts: The Pull of Paradise is a very funny look at the impending breakup of a long-term relationship; A Certain Unsoundness of Mind pits an established older writer against a resistant young writer who is challenged to weigh the value of his responsibilities to his family and to the world; To Hear a Distant Tune moves from humor to drama with a brother and sister on a relaxed summer day whose world is torn apart by the visit of a former boarder. The directors are Ximena Paola Herschberg and Jeffrey Ingman.
