About This Show

Blood Wedding, by Frederico Garcia Lorca, is a folk tragedy set in an ancient moral and social code based on the unshakable tenets of Honor and Death. Poetry, prose, an eclectic selection of Flamenco, classic and modern music and dance are interwoven in this tale of a bride who runs off with her lover on her wedding night. She is in the middle of an ancient blood feud that drives this story of love, pride, passion and violent death. Flora Plumb and Vicky Silva will direct.
