Auntie Mame

"Life is a Banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death!" This is the philosophy of Mame Dennis, the title character in our first production of our 80th Anniversary Season. An instant Playhouse classic when it was first produced in 1965, we are proud and excited to bring Auntie Mame back for the first time in 43 years! The show introduces us to Mame Dennis and chronicles her ceremonious life, loves and her overwhelming devotion to her young nephew, Patrick.
