All Join In

All Join In is a delightful, interactive musical pastiche of favorite songs and scenes from such classic Santa Monica Playhouse Family Theatre fairytales as Cinderella, Alice and the Wonderful Tea Party, All the World’s A Stage, The Amazing American Melodrama, Beauty and the Beast, Don Quixote: Knight of Knights, Dorothy’s Adventures in Oz, and Clemency for Mark Twain, as well as the Japan-America collaborative musicals Make Mine Myths and Summer Dreams, Summer Schemes.

As in the British Musical Hall events of old, audience members “all join in” as they sing along with their favorite characters to projected lyrics or follow along in activity-song books which they get to keep. There will be prizes to win (including complimentary Pirate’s Booty for every audience member), plus the chance to actively participate on stage.
