C.A.F.E (Combined Art Form Entertainment) presents A Tuna Christmas, the hysterical sequel to the cult classic Greater Tuna.
It’s 24 hours ’til Christmas and all matters of hilarity are taking place in Texas’ third smallest town of Tuna, where the Lion’s Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies.
Come see master comics from the world famous Groundlings Improv Group — Mindy Sterling (Frau Farbissina from Austin Powers) and Patrick Bristow (Ellen, Showgirls) as they bring new life to the twenty-four colorful citizens of your favorite small town. Anything goes – and often does – in this two person, costume-changing extravaganza.
Along with Hollywood’s finest comedy talent, C.A.F.E. has brought in TV and Film Writer/Producer/Director Stan Zimmerman (Golden Girls, Roseanne, Gilmore Girls and the Brady Bunch Movies) to direct, costumer Rhonda Brooks and set/light designer John Toom. Executive Producer Matthew Quinn, fresh from San Francisco, is thrilled to be launching his first L.A. production with such a stellar play and cast. Come and celebrate the holidays at the Asylum. Bring the whole family and join in the holiday fun!
