A Dead Rabbit

A Dead Rabbit is a love story between a young boy (Benny) whose parents were murdered, and his sweetheart (Louise), for whom he kills a rabbit to express his affection. In the midst of the Great Depression, Benny and Louise run away together on a cargo train to escape their tragic pasts, running headfirst into adulthood, dodging bullets, crazy vagabonds, and trying desperately to survive.
