A Clockwork Orange

The Anthony Burgess play A Clockwork Orange is based on his own provocative 1962 novella of the same name, a novella which was made into a film classic by Stanley Kubrick in 1971 and dramatized by the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1990. The Santa Monica Playhouse presents the U.K.’s Playbox Theatre in this production of the haunting futuristic drama. The Playbox Theatre, with their unique combination of theatrical and circus acts, brings this classic to their own timely interpretation.
