A New Play Reading Series
Page to Stage at the Victory is a new play reading series dedicated to the earliest, most vital stage of a play’s life: the moment it leaves the writer’s desk and is heard aloud for the first time. Each reading brings together professional actors and a director for a live, script-in-hand performance of a new or in-development work, followed by an audience talkback with the playwright.
For 46 years, the Victory Theatre Center has championed new voices in Los Angeles theatre — Page to Stage continues that commitment, giving playwrights a room full of listeners and giving audiences a first look at what’s next.
