The American Repertory Theatre presents The South Aftican Festival. The festival is centered around three theatrical productions–the first a deeply personal memory play of a childhood under apartheid; the second a dazzling cabaret by a provacative and hilarious popular icon, once a thorn in the side of the old regime and now an outspoken critic of the new order; and finally a gripping drama written by that nation’s most celebrated actor. The productions as follows:
The Syringa Tree
Nothing But the Truth
Foreign AIDS
