About the Show

The greatest songs – pop, folk, blues, country – make a one-of-a-kind theater experience. Rachael Warren and Amanda Dehnert’s new musical revue is a songbook for the American road trip. Everyday heroes, searching for home, emerge from songs of Nat King Cole, Bob Dylan, Irving Berlin, Dar Williams, Steve Earle, Tom Waits, Randy Newman, Tori Amos and George Gershwin and more, made popular by performers ranging from Bonnie Raitt to Kermit the Frog. In the intimate Dowling Theater, Rachael Warren and three actor/singers join three musicians on a playful, evocative set designed by David Jenkins. Last winter, Rachael and Amanda’s cabaret Stories: 20 Songs, 20 Lives sold out an extended run – and that was just the appetizer! With this full-length revue, you’ll enjoy a bounteous musical feast.

There is a special New Year’s Eve performance on December 31st. It will begin at 9:00 PM and be followed by a party with champagne, food, music and dancing, with an all-inclusive price of $75.
