The Henry VI Chronicles: in two parts

The first plays Shakespeare wrote will be the first plays presented at the outdoor Rose Footprint Theatre. The three swashbuckling plays, sculpted into two muscular 90-minute productions running in repertory, follow civic and international strife through Joan of Arc’s mysterious victory and tragedy, Queen Margaret’s insatiable war, Jack Cade’s rebellion, and the rise of the Duke of York’s young son, Richard III.
