About This Show

Love Letters was a smash hit both off and on Broadway 14 years ago and has continued to remain popular with regional theatres and audiences alike. Mr. Gurney traces the lifelong correspondence of the staid, dutiful lawyer Andrew Makepeace Ladd III and the lively, unstable artist Melissa Gardner. The story of their bittersweet yet profound relationship gradually unfolds from what is written — and what is left unsaid — in their letters.

The one-time special performance, directed by Daniela Varon benefits Shakespeare & Company’s actor training programs. There is a 6:00pm pre-performance reception with cocktails and light fare, followed by the 8:00pm performance. Then there is a champagne reception with Mr. Gurney and Ms. Miller, all in the Founders’ Theatre lobby – Josie’s Place.

Tickets:
Patron Tickets ($250), which include both receptions, preferred seating for the performance, special mention in the evening’s program, and VIP parking.

Sponsor Tickets ($150), which include both receptions and preferred seating for the performance.

Friend Tickets ($75), which include post-performance reception and the performance.
