Hedda Lettuce to Host New York's Next Top Drag Queen at the Metropolitan Room
The six-week contest will pit the city's most fabulous entertainers against one another in battles of looks and skill.
Popular entertainer Hedda Lettuce will host New York's Next Top Drag Queen, a six-week competition to run April 1-May 6 at the Metropolitan Room. The event will also feature special guests and surprise guest judges.
The entertainers in the running for the title of "Top Drag Queen" are Goldie Fische (a.k.a. Gerry Mastrolia), Titania Steele (a.k.a. Danny Marr), Bootsie Lafaris (a.k.a. Justin Keller), Ninna Rubi (a.k.a. Ricky Reyes), Millie Grams (a.k.a. Sam Given), Reverend Yolanda (a.k.a. Roger Mapes), Sonja Brooks (a.k.a. Ben Christopher Marshell), and Didi Panache (a.k.a. Douglas McGeouch).
The contestants will be judged on looks, as well as the ability to sing and entertain. The winner will receive a contract with the Metropolitan Room to headline monthly shows from June to December.
