Grease Sing-A-Long Film to Begin Commerical Release on July 8

A commercial release of the Grease Sing-A-Long film will launch in selected cities on Thursday, July 8, with additional cities to be added on July 15 and throughout the summer

The 1978 Paramount Pictures film version of the famed Broadway musical will be screened with six-track digital sound, complete with subtitles so the whole audience can sing along to such tunes as “Hopelessly Devoted to You” and “You’re the One That I Want.”

The film stars John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John, Stockard Channing, Jeff Conaway, Didi Conn, Barry Pearl, and Eve Arden.

As previously reported, there will be a special screening of the film at the Hollywood Bowl on Friday, June 25.
