Fall Schedule for The Addams Family National Tour Announced

The fall schedule for the national tour of The Addams Family has been announced. As previously reported, the tour will launch with an engagement at the Mahalia Jackson Theater for the Performing Arts in New Orleans, LA, to run September 15-24.

Other engagements include The Fabulous Fox Theatre in St. Louis, MO (September 27 – October 9); Ovens Auditorium in Charlotte, NC (October 11-16); David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa, FL (October 18-23); Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami, FL (October 25-30); Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre in Orlando, FL (November 1-6); The Raymond Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach, FL (November 8-13); Toronto Center for the Arts (November 16-27), The Proctors Theatre in Schenectady, NY (November 29 – December4); Shea’s Performing Arts Center in Buffalo, NY (December 6-11); and The Cadillac Palace Theatre in Chicago (December 13 – January 1). Additional tour cities and dates will be announced shortly.

Based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by cartoonist Charles Addams, the musical has a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa. The production is directed and designed (sets and costumes) by Phelim McDermott and Julian Crouch, with creative consultation by Jerry Zaks and choreography by Sergio Trujillo.

Lighting design is by Natasha Katz, sound design by Acme Sound Partners, and puppetry by Basil Twist. No casting for the tour has been announced.
