Bayside! The Musical! to Celebrate 200th Show With a Week of Deleted Scenes

The unauthorized parody of ”Saved by the Bell” plays at Theatre 80.

National Lampoon's Bayside! The Musical!, an unauthorized Saved by the Bell parody now running at Theatre 80, is celebrating its 200th show the week of January 21 with a week of special performances titled Bayside! The Musical: Deleted Scenes. Each of the comedy's performances will have additional scenes that were originally deleted for reasons "only known by Zack Morris."

Deleted scenes may include: The Death of Screech!, The Impregnation of Kelly KaPOWski!, Dustin Diamond’s Bar Fight Reenactment!, The Death of Mr. Belding!, Lisa Turtle Shops for a New Blouse!, The Death of That Blouse! and EVEN MORE CAFFEINE PILLS!

Bayside! The Musical! features book, music, lyrics, and direction by Bob and Tobly McSmith, the creators of Showgirls! The Musical! The cast currently includes Sam Harvey as Zack Morris, Katie Mebane as Kelly KaPOWski, Micah Cower as A.C. Slater, Adi Spencer as Jessie Spano, Justin Cimino as Samuel "Screech" Powers, Shamira Clark as Lisa Turtle, Amanda Nicholas as Every Other Student at Bayside, and former New York City mayoral candidate Seth Blum as Mr. Belding.

Bayside! The Musical! The Original Cast Recording! was released on March 17, 2014, and is now available on iTunes, Amazon, GooglePlay, Spotify, and all Digital Media outlets.
