Broadway veteran Annie Potts will star in a national tour of Holland Taylor's one-woman show Ann, according to reports. The tour is set to take place in spring 2016.

Ann, a bioplay following late Texas Governor Ann Richards, is based on video coverage, interviews, and reams of Richards' personal and public papers at the University of Texas. The play opened at Broadway's Vivian Beaumont Theater in 2013, also starred Taylor. The actress and writer received Tony and Drama Desk nominations for her performance. The production was directed by Benjamin Endsley Klein.

Annie Potts has appeared on Broadway as Annette in God of Carnage and most, recently, as Berthe in the currently running revival of Pippin. Her well-known film and television appearances include roles in Ghostbusters and Designing Women.
