Mamie Gummer, Anthony Edwards, and More Join 24 Hour Plays on Broadway

The one-night-only performance will be held at Town Hall on November 21.

The roster of actors set to perform this year's 24 Hour Plays on Broadway has been announced. The 22nd annual event will be held at Town Hall on November 21 — the first live return of the production since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway are an intensive theatrical endeavor where artists write, direct, and perform six original short plays within 24 hours.

This year's show will feature performances by Abubakr Ali (Netflix's Grendel), Leyna Bloom (Port Authority), Maddie Corman (Accidentally Brave), Tim Daly (Madam Secretary), Anthony Edwards (ER), David Hull (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), Louisa Jacobson (The Gilded Age), Mo Rocca (CBS Sunday Morning), Ryan Jamaal Swain (Pose) Justin Bartha (The Hangover), Mamie Gummer (The Good Wife), Alex Moffat (Saturday Night Live), Okieriete Onaodowan (Hamilton), Sarah Steele (The Good Fight), and Willa Fitzgerald (Reacher), along with director Harris Doran (I See You and You See Me).

Previously announced performers include Julie Benko, Julia Chan, Lilli Cooper, Kathryn Gallagher, River Gallo, Joel Marsh Garland, Jin Ha, Amy Hargreaves, Rachel Hilson, and Talene Monahon. This year's writers include Mario Correa, Lily Houghton, Roger Q Mason, Michael Mitnick, Nikkole Salter, and Jonathan Marc Sherman, who will collaborate with directors Jake Beckhard, Victor Malana Maog, Kathleen Marshall, Leigh Silverman, and more.

There will be additional special appearances by Larry Owens (A Strange Loop), Joel Perez (Tick, Tick…Boom!), Natalie Walker (Search Party), and more.
