Laugh Factory Offers Free Holiday Dinners to Struggling New York Performers

The Laugh Factory, located at 303 West 42 Street (at Eighth Avenue), will open its doors on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day to all struggling comics, actors, and entertainers — and to anyone else, including the homeless and the elderly, who needs a good meal and people to share it with. Hefty portions of turkey, side dishes, and comedy will be provided free of charge. Meals will be served at 1pm, 3pm, and 5pm.

“Spending the holidays alone is no laughing matter,” states Laugh Factory owner Jamie Masada. “Many people have no family here; they come to New York with talent and ambition but often a lack of friends and funds. We create a welcoming atmosphere of family, fun, and good cheer.”

For reservations and information, phone 212-586-7829, ext. 1, or go to the Laugh Factory box office. For more on the Laugh Factory, visit the website www.laughfactory.com.
