Lea DeLaria Extends Smoke Engagement Through May 2011

Singer and comedian Lea DeLaria will extend her brunch shows at New York’s Smoke, playing numerous Saturdays and Sundays starting on September 4 and continuing through May 2011. The shows have no cover charge.

DeLaria has also announced numerous other engagements, including shows in London at the Pizza Express Jazz Club (September 21, October 19, November 16), the 606 Club (October 3), and Hideway (October 17); at New York’s Feinstein’s at Loews Regency (January 12); and at Club Manana in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (Februrary 5-March 5).

DeLaria’s stage credits include On the Town and The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told. She has released three CDs, Play It Cool, Double Standards, and The Live Smoke Sessions, and will be releasing a holiday album this fall.
