Also on hand were Danes’ co-stars: Boyd Gaines (Colonel Pickering), Jefferson Mays (Henry Higgins), and Jay O. Sanders (Alfred P. Doolittle)…
…as were Terrence McNally, author of The Ritz, with the stars of the soon-to-bow revival, Rosie Perez and Kevin Chamberlin.
On September 5, Bravo Television and Entertainment Weekly hosted a special premiere of the new series Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style at the Soho Grand. The evening’s guests included two Tony Award winners, Christine Ebersole, who’s sure to get applause this winter when she plays Margo Channing in Applause…
…and Jane Krakowski, a co-star of the Emmy-nominated comedy series 30 Rock, which begins its second season on NBC on October 4.
Speaking of television, Lee Pace and Jim Dale (another Tony winner) showed up at New World Stages on September 8 for the New York premiere of their new ABC-TV series Pushing Daisies, which also stars Tony winners Kristin Chenoweth and Swoosie Kurtz.

Meanwhile, the Altar Boyz, led by new cast member (and former Grease: You’re The One That I Want contestant) Chad Doreck wowed the crowd!
On Sunday night, Edge, Paul Alexander’s riveting biodrama about the late poet Sylvia Plath, opened for a four-week run at the ArcLight Theatre. At the after party at ArteCafe, the show’s amazing star, Angelica Torn, got a hug from her biggest fan: her dad, the great actor, Rip Torn.
The first-night crowd included Studio Dante co-founders Michael and Victoria Imperioli…
…Michael’s former Sopranos co-star, Federico Castelluccio…
…the gorgeous Maya Days, currently appearing on the hit television show Damages…
