The Kitchen has announced its programming for the fall and early winter.

Performance offerings will include Baggage Allowance, a new solo show from Pamela Z, in which she examines the idea of “baggage” in all of its forms, to run September 16-18. Also on the theater’s schedule is Re:Galli Blonde (A Sissy Fix) (October 22-30), by Justin Bond and the House of Whimsy, which will explore the final days of the ancient Order of Galli, which was run by gender variant priests and priestesses in temples throughout the Roman Empire.

The Kitchen also plans to offer film/performance pieces during the coming months, including Utopia in Four Movements (October 7-9), by Sam Green and Dave Cerf, which will combine video, spoken word and music. The venue will also host Toni Dove’s Spectropia (December 9-11), a hybrid video game, feature film and veejay mashup. The cast for the film portion of Dove’s creation includes Aleksa Palladino, Caroline McCormack, Richard Bekins, Simon Jones, Helen Pickett and Paul Lazar. The show’s original score is by Elliott Sharp

Dance offerings at the Kitchen will include new pieces from Yasmeen Godder (September 23-25) and Christian Rizzo (September 30-October 2), as well as Dance and Process, a program featuring new work from Oren Barnoy, Megan Byrne and Antonio Ramos (December 17-18). Music performances will be offered by Rhys Chatham and Angie Eng (October 15-16), Sam Amidon (November 19-20), and Tamar-kali and Valiere June (December 2-3).
