Lewis Black, Michael Cerveris, Kelli O’Hara, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Sherie Rene Scott, et al, to Appear at Barnes & Noble

Initial events have been announced for the newly opened Barnes & Noble at 150 East 86th Street.

On Sunday, June 21 at 7pm, The Love Street Theatre will perform excerpts from Julie Halpern’s new play Shining Days, about the Golden Dawn Society. At 7pm on Monday, June 22, Lewis Black will be present for a book reading and signing.

Michael Cerveris, Kelli O’Hara, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Sherie Rene Scott, and Mary Testa will be among the artists performing selections from Listen, a CD of songs written by the young members of Our Time Theatre Company, at 4pm on Tuesday June 23. The CD will also feature the aforementioned performers as well as Carly Simon, Daryl Hall & John Oates, Duncan Sheik, Mandy Patinkin, and many more.

At 11am on Thursday, June 25, children’s music artist Dan Zanes will perform selections from his new CD, The Welcome Table, and at 7pm on Monday, June 29, actor Chris Lemmon will be on hand for a discussion and signing of the new DVD set, The Jack Lemmon Film Collection.
