The producers of the recently shuttered musical The Story of My Life will team up with PS Classics to make an original cast recording of the Broadway production, set for March 13, with an anticipated June 2 release.

The cast album will feature the show’s two person cast: Will Chase and Tony Award nominee Malcolm Gets, who played childhood friends whose lives drifted apart as adults. The musical is written by Neil Bartram (score) and Brian Hill (book) and was directed by Tony Award winner Richard Maltby, Jr. The orchestrations are by Tony, Emmy, Grammy and Academy Award winner Jonathan Tunick.

The musical closed on Sunday, February 22 at the Booth Theatre after a run of five regular performances and 18 previews.
