Actresses Helen Mirren and Meryl Streep and playwright/screenwriter Peter Morgan are among the winners of the annual National Society of Film Critics Awards.

Mirren, who has picked up every trophy imaginable, was once again named Best Actress for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II in The Queen, while Morgan, the author of the Broadway-bound Frost/Nixon, received the group’s Best Screenwriting Award.

Streep, a two-time Oscar winner, was named Best Supporting Actress for her roles in The Devil Wears Prada and A Prairie Home Companion. The actress recently starred in the Shakespeare in the Park production of Mother Courage and Her Children.

The 41-year-old organization, which comprises members in six major cities, named Pan’s Labyrinth as Best Picture, Paul Greengrass as Best Director for United 93, and Al Gore’s documentary An Inconvenient Truth as Best Non-Fiction Film.

In addition, the group gave top honors to Forest Whitaker as Best Actor for The Last King of Scotland (which is co-written by Morgan) and Mark Wahlberg as Best Supporting Actor for The Departed.
