Come From Away, Company, The Inheritance Score Big Wins at the Olivier Awards

The winners of the 2019 Olivier Awards were announced last night at the Royal Albert Hall.

Come From Away, Company, and Matthew Lopez's two-part play The Inheritance led the way with four awards each. Come From Away won Best New Musical, as well as Outstanding Achievement in Music, Best Theatre Choreographer (Kelly Devine), and Best Sound Design (Gareth Owen).

Patti LuPone won Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance in Company, as did Jonathan Bailey for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. The production as a whole won Best Musical Revival.

And The Inheritance won Best New Play, with Kyle Soller winning Best Actor and Stephen Daldry picking up a Best Director award.
