The new production of JM Barrie’s Peter Pan, which has had an extended run at London’s Kensington Gardens, will transfer to The O2, December 1-January 10.

As previously announced, there will be a year-long U.S. tour of the show, to launch in San Francisco in May 2010, and second tour to play New Zealand and the Far East, to launch in January 2011. For its engagement at the O2, the production will incorporate changes that will be seen when the show begins its tour next year.

This new adaptation of Barrie’s classic story is directed by Ben Harrison and written by Tanya Ronder, with projection scenery designs by William Dudley. The cast includes Ciaran Kellgren (Peter Pan), Abby Ford (Wendy), Jonathan Hyde (Captain Hook/Mr. Darling), Karen Ascoe (Mrs. Darling), Arthur Wilson (John Darling), and David Poynor (Michael Darling).
