Dear Evan Hansen Supports Mental Health Awareness With "You Will Be Found" Sweater
Dear Evan Hansen has announced a partnership with the luxury brand Lingua Franca to create a special edition sweater, available online beginning May 1 for Mental Health Awareness Month. The sweater will be embroidered with "you will be found," the title of Dear Evan Hansen's Act 1-ending anthem.
This marks the first official partnership between Lingua Franca and a Broadway production. The sweater will retail for $380, and $100 from each Dear Evan Hansen sweater sold will go directly to the show's not-for-profit partners, including the Child Mind Institute, Crisis Text Line, the Jed Foundation, the Trevor Project, and Born This Way Foundation. The special edition Dear Evan Hansen Lingua Franca sweater can be purchased online here and will also be sold in person at the Music Box Theatre.
The winner of six 2017 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Dear Evan Hansen features a book by Tony winner Steven Levenson, a score by Oscar, Tony, and Grammy-winning composers Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, and direction by four-time Tony nominee Michael Greif.
The Broadway cast currently stars Andrew Barth Feldman as Evan Hansen, Mallory Bechtel as Zoe Murphy, Alex Boniello as Connor Murphy, Phoenix Best as Alana Beck, Lisa Brescia as Heidi Hansen, Sky Lakota-Lynch as Jared Kleinman, Michael Park as Larry Murphy, and Jennifer Laura Thompson as Cynthia Murphy. Michael Lee Brown serves as the Evan Hansen alternate. Samantha Williams will take over the role of Alana Beck beginning May 7.
