Leslie Kritzer, Amanda McBroom, et al. Set for Barrington Stage Shows

Catherine Cox and Leslie Kritzer will star in the Barrington Stage Company’s Musical Theatre Lab production of Memory is the Mother of All Wisdom. Featuring book and lyrics by Sara Cooper with music by Zachary Redler, the piece is a comic tragedy about the troubled relationship of a woman diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and her estranged daughter. Joe Calarco will direct the work, September 5 and 6.

BSC has also announced three shows for the fall. The Harvey Schmidt-Tom Jones musical The Fantasticks (October 7-18) will be directed by Andrew Volkoff with choreography by Janet Watson. Richard M. Parison, Jr. will direct The Laramie Project: Ten Years Later (An Epilogue) on October 12. Amanda McBroom will return to BSC’s Stage 2 October 23 and 24, with guest Michele Brourman.
