Christopher Bloch, Sherri L. Edelen, Nova Y. Payton Set for Signature’s The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas

Casting has been announced for Eric Schaeffer’s production of the award-winning musical The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, which will run August 14-October 7 at Signature Theatre.

The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas features music and lyrics by Carol Hall, with a book by Larry L. King and Peter Masterson.

The cast will feature Sherri L. Edelen (Miss Mona Stangley), Christopher Bloch (Melvin P. Thorpe), Thomas Simpson (Sheriff Earl Dodd), Erin Driscoll (Angel), and Nova Y.
Payton (Jewel) , as well as Tracy Lynn Olivera, Madeline Botteri, Matt
Conner, Dan Manning, Amy McWilliams, Stephen F. Schmidt, Jamie Eacker, Tamara Young, Maria Rizzo, Nora Palka, Nadia Harika, Brianne Camp, Stephen Gregory Smith, Gannon O’Brien, Vincent Kempski, Davis Hasty, Benjamin Horen, David Jennings, and Jay Adriel.

The creative team includes Karma Camp (choreographer), Gabriel Mangiante (musical director), Collin Ranney (set designer), Kathleen Geldard (costume designer), Colin K. Bills (lighting designer), and Matt Rowe (sound designer).
