The Hub Theatre has announced the line-up for its fifth season.

The season will begin with Helen Pafumi and Jason Lott’s Wonderful Life, a one-man stage play starring Lott based on Frank Capra’s classic film. Directed by Gregg Henry, the production runs November 30-December 30 at the H Street Playhouse.

Next up is How I Paid for College, about a seventeen-year-old wannabe musical comedy star who must turn to disorganized crime to live his dreams. Marc Acito’s play, directed by Parfumi, runs December 7-30 at the John Swayze Theatre.

Lauren Yee’s A Man, His Wife, and His Hat follows, from April 5-28 at the Swayze Theatre, directed by Shirley Serotsky. Matthew R. Wilson’s production of Act A Lady by Jordan Harrison will close the season, running July 12-August 4 at the John Swayze Theatre. In the comedy, the men of a small Prohibition-era town decide to stage a play.
