Whipping Man takes place on the last day of the Civil War and focuses on a badly wounded Jewish confederate soldier who returns to his Richmond estate and begs his now freed slaves to nurse him. In addition to multiple Carbonell Award-nominee Archie, the cast features Brandon Morris and Nick Duckhart. The creative team includes scenic designer Tim Bennett, costume designer Alberto Arroyo, lighting designer Chris Hill, and sound designer Sean Lawson.
