Tarrell Alvin McCraney’s Wig Out! Featured in Miami Made Festival

Tarrell Alvin McCraney’s Wig Out! will be performed as part the Miami Made Festival running March 5-7 at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. McCraney’s play will be offered in two staged readings on March 6 at 3pm and March 7 at 8pm.

Miami Made is an annual showcase of new work from artists living and working in South Florida. Other offerings in Miami Made include Vanessa Garcia’s multimedia Model City, Jose Dominguez’s interdisciplinary theater project Hilo, and Jillian Mayer’s parody of musicals, Mrs. Ms..

Dance will be represented in the festival with Letty Bassart’s Good, God, Go, Rudi Goblen’s one man dance theater piece, Fare Welling, and with excerpts from Rosie Herrerra’s work-in-progress, Dining Alone. The festival will also include Juraj Kojs’ Neraissance: Self-powered Multimedia Art and a series of panel discussions.
