The Marsh Announces 2008 Fall-Winter Season

The Marsh has announced the line up for its 2008 fall-winter season which will include a return performance by Ann Randolph and two family matinees for the Christmas season.

The season will open with the puppetry of Lunitique Fantastique in Chicken Stock, September 6-14 , a story about avian flu told with little more than newspaper, plastic bags, and plastic forks. Ann Randolph will return for the second run of her show Squeeze Box at The Marsh, September 13-October 5. Gundlach Bundschu, California’s oldest family owned winery, has commissioned Mark Kenward to write Towle’s Hill, October 3-November 21, which chronicles the history of the winery.

Wayne Harris will take the stage with May Day Parade: Bugles, Bass Drums & The Baptish Church, October 4-November 9; Carlo D’Amore’s autobiographical solo work, No Parole, will open November 13 -December 13; and the season will close with two family matinee productions, Lunatique Fantastique’s Wrapping Paper Caper, December 7-January 4, and David Hirata’s Magic Holiday, December 7-29.
