'S Wonderful: The New Gershwin Musical to Premiere at Pittsburgh CLO Cabaret in June

The Gershwin families authorized the use of the Gershwin songbook for this new show, which is five mini-musicals inspired by the real events occurring in and around the Gershwin brothers' lives. The pieces are set in such places and eras as New York City in 1916, Paris in the 1930s, Hollywood in the 1940s and New Orleans in the 1950s. The show will feature such Gerwshin standards as "Let's Call the Whole Thing Off," "Shall We Dance," "Someone to Watch Over Me," and "Rhapsody in Blue."
Casting for the production will be announced at a later date.
