Erin Davie, Richard Roland to Star in Pennsylvania Centre Stage’s Apple Tree

Erin Davie and Richard Roland will lead the cast of Pennsylvania Centre Stage’s The Apple Tree, to play the Citizens Bank Theatre, May 27-June 7.

The show combines three one-act musicals about men, women, and temptation: “The Diary Of Adam And Eve,” “The Lady Or The Tiger?,” and “Passionella.” It features music by Jerry Bock, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, and a book by Bock, Harnick, and Jerome Coopersmith.

The cast will also include Chad Bradford (Balladeer), Nakeisha Daniel (Ensemble), Manada Frennier (Ensemble), Julia Freyer (Nadjira/Dance Captain), Robert Henry (Ensemble), Clory C. Jackson (Snake, Ensemble), Ben Loving (Mr. Fallible, Ensemble), Lara Mielcarek (Narrator/Fairy Godmother/Ensemble), Matthew Moore (Ensemble), Jeffrey Nunez (Ensemble), Nick Reynolds (Ensemble), Jamila Saberes-Klemm (Ensemble), Raymond Sage (King Arik/Producer), and Luke Virkstis (Ensemble).

Davie — who will play Eve, Barbara, and Ella — received a Theatre World Award for Grey Gardens and additional credits include the Broadway production of Curtains and Off-Broadway’s The Glorious Ones. She will also play Guenevere later this summer in Goodspeed’s Camelot. Roland — who will play Adam, Sanjar, and Flip — has appeared on Broadway in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Follies, and The Scarlet Pimpernel.
