South African Company members of Disney's The Lion King will present a one night only cabaret performance to benefit entitled Umculo Webhubesi (the lion sings tonight), at The Trocadero, at 1003 Arch Street in Philadelphia, on Monday, April 12.

The concert will feature South African music and dance. Among the performers are Lion King tour members Phindile Mkhize (Rafiki), Vusi Mhlongo (Low Antelope), Sihle Ngema (High Antelope), Portia Magwaza, and N'tombkhona Dlamini, as well as Broadway Lion King members Lindiwe Dlamini, Selloane Nkhela and Bongi Duma. Broadway in South Africa, a New York-based performance group, will also join the concert.

The Lion King is currently playing at Philadelphia's Academy of Music for a five-week engagement through April 24. All proceeds from the benefit will go to Philadelphia ActionAIDS and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Tickets are $25, and include a post-performance reception with the cast. For more information, visit www.thetroc.com.
