Fulton Theatre Announces 2009-2010 Season

The Fulton Theatre has announced the production schedule for their 2009-2010 season, which will feature ten productions, one of which has yet to be announced.

The season will open with Hello, Dolly! (September 3-27), the classic Michael Stewart-Jerry Herman musical based on Thornton Wilder’s The Matchmaker. Cinderella will follow, September 12-26, the Marc Robin-Curt Dale Clark musical about a different kind of arranged marriage. Frederick Knott’s Dial M for Murder, October 22-November 8, will dial up the drama, and the final production of 2009 will be announced at a later date.

Nutcracker: A Holiday Musical, December 5-19, will bring the holiday cheer, and Alfred Uhry’s Driving Miss Daisy, January 28-February 14, will be the first full production of the new year. Michael Frayn’s Noises Off will play March 11-28, Tennessee Williams’ Cat on a Hot Tin Roof will run April 22-May 9, and the Marc Robin-Curt Dale Clark version of Sleeping Beauty will run June 5-26. The Fulton’s 2009-2010 season will close with Phantom, June 3-July 4, Maury Yeston’s musical adaptation of Gaston Leroux’s 1910 novel The Phantom of the Opera.
