Young Actor Lucas Hedges to Star in MCC Theater's Yen

Young actor Lucas Hedges (Manchester by the Sea) will star in the American premiere of Anna Jordan's Yen, to be presented by MCC Theater under the direction of Trip Cullman. The production will run January 12-February 19 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre, with opening night set for January 30.

In Yen, Bobbie and Hench are home alone. Days are filled by streaming porn, playing Call of Duty, watching the world go by. Their mom rarely visits these days, and it’s chaos when she does. But when animal-loving neighbor Jenny takes an interest in their dog Taliban, the boys discover a world far beyond what they know. Yen explores a childhood lived without boundaries.

Hedges' film credits include Moonrise Kingdom, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Kill the Messenger, and the upcoming Manchester by the Sea, Lady Bird, and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. He starred in the limited NBC drama series The Slap.
