Helder Guimarães, a close-up magician best known for having appeared in the 2013 sold-out engagement of Nothing to Hide, will return to New York City in his new show, Verso. Performances begin September 19 at New World Stages, with opening night set for September 28.

Written and performed by Guimarães, Verso pushes the limits of magic and challenges just how much you're willing to accept what your eyes assume to be true. It had its world premiere in Portugal earlier this year at the Teatro do Bolhão in Porto, and later played the Teatro da Trindade in Lisboa.

Verso features creative direction by Catarina Marques, lighting design by Pedro Vieira de Carvalho, music by Pedro Marques, creative consulting by Kelly Devine, and direction by Rodrigo Santos. It is produced by Rodney Rigby, Latitude Link, Eva Price.
