Jeffrey Carlson, Jan Leslie Harding, Laurence Lau, and Angelica Page will star in the Off-Broadway production of Frank Strausser’s Psycho Therapy, at the Cherry Lane Theatre. Alex Lippard will direct the play, which will run January 19-February 25, with an opening on January 29.

In the play, Lily’s fiancée Phillip blows off couples therapy and Dorian, her hot young ex-boyfriend, jumps in to fill the void. When the trio ends up on the couch together, only therapist Nancy Winston can untangle the kinks.

The design team will include Michael V. Moore (set), Amanda Bujak (costumes), Amy Altadonna (sound), Jeff Croiter (lighting) and Allison Leyton-Brown (composer).

Carlson received a Drama Desk nomination for his performance in Taboo on Broadway, with other Main Stem credits including The Goat and Tartuffe. Harding received an Obie Award for Sincerity Forever, and appeared on Broadway in Julie Taymor’s The Green Bird.

Lau’s New York stage credits include Arrivals, Spine, and The Exonerated, and he has been featured in numerous daytime dramas, including All My Children, Another World, One Life to Live, and As the World Turns. Page, formerly known as Angelica Torn, appeared on Broadway in Side Man, with her many other stage credits also including August: Osage County, Edge, and Anna Christie.
