Diane J. Findlay, Lauren Kennedy, Pamela Myers, et al. Set for Flat Rock Playhouse’s Steel Magnolias; Clint Holmes Stars in My Own Song

Casting has been announced for Scott Treadway’s production of Robert Harling’s Steel Magnolias, to play the Flat Rock Playhouse, the State Theatre of North Carolina, April 29-May 23.
The cast will feature Diane J. Findlay (Ouiser), Marianne Fraulo (M’Lynn), Lauren Kennedy (Shelby), Rebecca Koon (Clairee), Pamela Myers (Truvy), and Julia VanderVeen (Annelle).
The Playhouse is currently presenting the musical My Own Song, starring Clint Holmes and directed by Vincent Marini, through April 25.
The show, which is aiming for a New York City run, features a book by Holmes and Marini, music by Nelson Kole and Bill Fayne, lyrics by Holmes, and choreography by Greg Daniels. The cast also includes Mara Davi, Reva Rice, David Jennings, Jennifer Evans, Randy Glass, Heather Parcells, and Christopher Lingner.
