Michael Cerveris to Perform with The Lisps at Joe’s Pub

Tony Award winner Michael Cerveris will perform alongside The Lisps, a New York-based co-ed assemblage of 21st century theater prone indie rockers, to perform songs from their upcoming concept album Futurity, at Joe’s Pub on Friday, December 16 at 9:30pm.
The album features music written for their new musical of the same name. It follows Julian Munro, a Civil War soldier trying to invent a steam-powered mechanical brain that will solve all of humanity’s problems. The musical will have its world premiere at The American Repertory Theater (ART) in March of 2012.
Additional special guests for the concert are Ben Simon, Chelsey Donn, Grant O’Brien, Aaron Schroeder, Caroline Tamas and Jillian Tully.
