Joseph Gordon-Levitt to Appear at Town Hall on October 28

Film star Joseph Gordon-Levitt will appear at the Town Hall on October 28 as part of the gala event Joseph Gordon-Levitt and the hitRECord.org Fall Formal, according to the New York Times. Proceeds from the event will benefit hitRECord.org, the Web site and production company where the actor invites other Internet users to work with him on video and art projects.

According to the Times, the show will present some of his collective’s short films, accompanied by live narration and music, as well as other traditional stage acts. Guest stars will be named at a later date.

The actor’s many films include 500 Days of Summer, Mysterious Skin, and Angels in the Outfield. He co-starred on the hit NBC sitcom Third Rock from the Sun and hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live last season.
