Broadway Bares XX: Strip-Opoly Raises Over $1 Million

Broadway Bares XX: Strip-Opoly, which was held at Roseland Ballroom on Sunday, June 20, raised $1,015,985 to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. This marks the first time this annual charity event has hit the $1 million dollar mark.

Broadway Bares, which benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, was founded by Jerry Mitchell, and includes numerous Broadway dancers and special guest stars in a sexy burlesque show. To date, the 20 editions of Broadway Bares have raised more than $7.5 million for BC/EFA.

Nick Adams, Kevin Burrows, Charles Busch, Kevin Chamberlin, Kristin Chenoweth, Jennifer Cody, Alan Cumming, Diana DeGarmo, Lea DeLaria, Felicia Finley, Katie Finneran, Barrett Foa, Debbie Gravitte, Julie Halston, Jackie Hoffman, Denis Jones, Jane Krakowski, Sebastian LaCause, Reichen Lehmkuhl, Norm Lewis, Lucy Liu, Euan Morton, Julia Murney, Christopher Sieber, Rachelle Rak, Andrew Rannells, Bruce Vilanch, Lillias White, and Vanessa Williams were among the special guests at this year’s edition. The event was executive produced by Mitchell, and was directed by Josh Rhodes.
