Christina Kirk, Darren Pettie, Gareth Saxe, et al. Set for INKubator Series

Casting has been announced for WET’s INKubator Summer Series of staged readings, to be presented on three consecutive Mondays at the DR2 Theatre, June 15-29.

The series will begin with Melissa James Gibson’s Current Nobody (June 15 at 7pm), to be directed by Daniel Aukin. A loose adaptation of Homer’s The Odyssey, it will star Christina Kirk, Gareth Saxe, Natalia Payne, and Trevor Williams.

Dusty and The Big Bad World (June 22 at 7pm), Cusi Cram’s play with Evan Cabnet at the helm, is a comedy about censorship, government funding, and gay rights. The cast will feature Charlotte Booker, Sasha Eden, and Kelly McAndrew.

Swimming in March (June 29 at 7pm) is written by Kate Robin, directed by Rebecca Bayla, and is an adaptation of Buchner’s expressionist play, Woyzcek. The cast will include Maulik Pancholy, Darren Pettie, Keith Reddin, Adam Driver, and Jennifer Regan.

On 9:30pm on each of the Mondays, there will also be a presentation of I Eat Pandas, a musical improv duo featuring Eliza Skinner and Glennis McMurray.
