Liz Callaway and Ann Hampton Callaway will present their acclaimed new show BOOM! at New York City’s Birdland, May 3-6.
The show, which premiered in June at New York’s Town Hall, features songs from the 60s and 70s, including tunes made famous by Joni Mitchell, Carole King, Carly Simon, The Beatles, Paul Simon, Jimmy Webb and Stevie Wonder, along with the sisters’ stories of their years growing up in Chicago and New York.
Liz Callaway was a Tony Award nominee for Baby and has starred on Broadway in Cats, Miss Saigon, The Look of Love, and Merrily We Roll Along. Ann Hampton Callaway received a Tony Award nomination for her work in the musical Swing!
